Meghan Markle appeared tense during a public appearance ahead of the release of the royal bombshell book Endgame by British journalist Omid Scobie, a body language expert says.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been on the receiving end of a lot since they left the royal family in 2020. The Sussexes have been accused of damaging ties with the British monarchy by constantly “speaking ill of the royals.” 2023 also saw them facing career setbacks. Their recent snub saw kids show Paw Patrol raking more Netflix views than their £88 million tell-all docuseries. Moreover, in a public appearance ahead of the bombshell book Endgame’s release, the Duchess looked rather “tense.”

Meghan Markle looks tense on camera
Meghan recently showed up at an event to support her friend Misan Harriman for his first feature film. But an expert says the mother of two looked very “tense” and “low-key” at the event. According to body-language expert Judi James, Meghan wasn’t entirely comfortable when she sat on stage. Pictures from the event see the Duchess dressed in a brown turtleneck with a pant-suit of the same color.
The group sat on notoriously uncomfortable director chairs. Speaking to The Mirror, James said how the 42-year-old made an effort to look poised and confident.
“We shouldn’t underestimate the effort Meghan is putting in to look poised and confident here, but despite that, I think she still ends up looking tense,” she said.
Despite sitting on a director’s chair, Meghan held a gracious posture as she wore black heels.
Talking about the Duchess’s outfit choice, the expert said, “Her brown outfit looks deliberately low-key and her overall pose is an unusual one for Meghan when she appears on any stage.”
The former actress, who is a talented speaker, was in listening mode at the event. She also had a rather “sad” and “pensive” expression on her face. The Mirror notes how Meghan’s muted appearance came ahead of the release of Omid Scobie’s Endgame, which was released on November 28.

Omid Scobie’s book addresses “racism” claims against royals
The bombshell tome – that targets King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton as well as Prince Harry and Meghan’s story – is said to reveal many royal secrets and confirm some of the fans’ suspicions.
It talks about the famous “racism” claims made by Meghan and Harry in their 2021 Oprah interview. Although the internet perceived their revelation as “racism” Prince Harry called it “unconscious bias” on the part of some royals.
The duo left the world shocked after stating that a royal family member was concerned about their son Archie’s skin color before his birth. As per Cosmopolitan, it wasn’t one family member but two who asked about Archie’s complexion.
Kate reportedly helped royals respond to “racism” claims
Valentine Low’s book Courtiers’ 2023 updated version suggests that Catherine, Princess of Wales, (Kate Middleton) was the one who drove the “recollections may vary” line in the Royal family’s response to Meghan and Harry’s claims.
The line from the Royal response reads, “The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”
An insider claimed that Kate and William wanted to toughen up the response to the Sussexes. To drive the “recollections may vary” line into the royal response, Kate pointed out “History will judge this statement and unless this phrase or a phrase like it is included, everything that they have said will be taken as true.’”
Celebrity Tidbit and GRV Media previously reached out to the Prince and Princess of Wales for comment on the above claims.
