I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t giddy to pull out my warm-weather clothing from the depths of my closet and give it the spotlight it deserves at the front (bye-bye puffer coats). However, some holes need filling in my wardrobe where I could use a few more spring-friendly pieces.

So many dresses, sandals, and accessories are hiding at Walmart, and even better, they’re all within my budget. I found a selection of styles from the retailer’s exclusive brands like Scoop, Time and Tru, and Sofia Jeans by Sofia Vergara, with prices starting at just $6.

Scoop Satin Ruffle Tank Top

One of my favorite low-lift outfits for spring consists of a business casual top and jeans. This $18 satin ruffle tank is trendy for brunch and sleek enough for the office when layered under a cardigan or blazer. I’m eyeing it in the bright yellow hue for a springy pop of color since most of my wardrobe is neutral-toned. 

Time and Tru Button Front Shirt Dress

Although I immediately think of sunshine and temperatures above 65 degrees when I picture spring weather, there are still breezy days when a long-sleeved dress or a light jacket is needed. So I don’t have to go digging through winter clothing that I packed up in anticipation of warmer weather, this button-front shirt dress is the transitional style my closet needs (and I’m floored at its affordable $20 price tag).   

No Boundaries Platform Slide Sandals

Since I love wearing flared pants and maxi dresses, I prefer footwear with chunky heels or platforms like these slide sandals for a boost in height. These feature an espadrille-like silhouette with beige woven jute platforms and a white foot strap that’ll go with everything in my closet all spring and summer.  

Time and Tru Linen-Blend Blazer

Regardless of the time of year, I’ll always favor a structured blazer for layered looks. While some of my current styles are a bit thick for spring, I’d love to add this linen-blend option to my lineup to elevate my basic tees and tanks but with a more breathable fabric so I don’t overheat.
